Sanjay Mishra plays the same odd character which he routinely does now, and talents like Darshan Jariwala and Saurabh Shukla are reduced to doing goofy physical comedy.

You’re now put through a meet-cute punctuated by a background score that arm-twists you into feeling something, a few white lies, songs in Kashmir because why not, and a love story sponsored by dollar-shop goodies (red teddy bears included).īut hang on, these were the sane parts of the movie. What is this confession, you ask? Oh, it’s just the highly generic story of how Laali met Laddoo. His wife-to-be soon starts boring everyone with moral lectures about “doing the right thing” and confessing to Veer. Laddoo is tying the knot at the same venue too. We learn that Laali (Akshara Haasan) is getting married to prince Veer (Gurmeet Choudhary) while being pregnant with Laddoo’s (Vivaan Shah) child. A beginning packed with so much information that it feels like you’re cramming for your board exam.
